During the first half of the last week of fall banding at Chico Basin Ranch, we banded 160 birds and are headed toward a season record. Species and daily totals follow. We have banded 1619 birds of 43 species. We captured our first Blue-headed Vireo of the season on Monday. Audubon's Warblers finally made a bigger showing on Wednesday with 28, after just a few since the first arrival on September 19th.
