[cobirds] Jeffco yard bird- orchard oriole

I probably wouldn't have posted this were it not for Dave's mention of one in Fort Collins.  I have a sizable elm on my back hill and this morning there were numerous birds working on it.  They seemed to be picking something off the undersides of the leaves- in spite of my best efforts I couldn't make out exactly what it was- vegetal or bugital.  Dave?

Anyway, there were numerous house finches and a couple of black-headed grosbeaks picking away at the leaves, and when I checked through the finches I was surprised to find the oriole.  I have a lot of Bullock's in the yard but the orchard was a first.  I mention it in case this bird and Dave's might be an indication of a westward invasion of this species, sort of like the dickcissal explosion last spring/summer.

Also had a seriously late junco show up today.
