Pieplow will discuss how cutting edge innovations in bird tracking and automatic identification can enhance conservation, community science and the appeal of birding overall. Pieplow is the former editor of CFO's quarterly journal and the author of two volumes of the Peterson Field Guide to Bird Sounds. He is an assistant professor of writing and rhetoric at the University of Colorado Boulder.
