We are still averaging about 10-12 new birds per day, with a low of 2 captures and a high of 21. But our daily educational visits from all of the local fourth graders keeps us busy!

Song Sparrow - 8
Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow - 56
Mountain White-crowned Sparrow - 11
Spotted Towhee - 6
Woodhouse's Scrub-Jay - 1
American Robin - 1
Previous year recaptures:
1 - Spotted Towhee banded in 2017
1 - Blue-gray Gnatcatcher banded in 2017
1 - Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow banded in 2017
1 - Bewick's Wren banded in 2018
3- Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow banded in 2019
We are open M-F, weather permitting, and usually return from our first net run by 740. We have one week left at Connected Lakes! Come join us!
