[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies Chico Basin Ranch Daily Update 10/01/21

Today was my second to last day of work, and it was super bittersweet. My last brigade of elementary school kids came through and seemed to really enjoy their time here at the banding station. Thank you to everyone who has come to visit throughout the season and hopefully I see some of you tomorrow before I head out!

Chico captures for 10/1:
Wilson's Warbler 7
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Song Sparrow 1
Hermit Thrush 1
Slate-colored Junco 2
Lincoln's Sparrow 3

We are open 6 days a week at Chico Basin Ranch (closed Sunday), usually returning from the first net run around 7am and staying open until about 11:30am, weather permitting. Thank you for your continued support! Tomorrow (Oct 2nd.) is the last day we will be banding and open to the public.
