Just finished walking the dogs up at “the park” (aka Huston Park, SW Denver, Denver Co.) and had an immature GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE mixed in with a migrant flock of CANADA GEESE. In with this group were two (2) interesting “tweener” Cackling/Canadas which I found more interesting than the White-front. They were smallish, with head and bill shapes of a “Taverner’s” Cackling, but colored like a ”Richardson’s” Cackling/parvipes Canada, relatively thin necked, and long winged, so…??? Anyway, thought some of you might be interested if out and about this afternoon (Weds, 3 Mar.’21).
Good Birding,
Doug
