I just walked around Quincy Reservoir in Aurora for the first time this year. It opens each year on March 1st. I saw a Brant hanging out with some Canada geese. Here's a link to my eBird checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S82687878

It was on ice near open water directly across from the parking lot. I saw it after walking about halfway around the reservoir, but you might be able to see it from the parking lot area with a scope.

To park at Quincy, it's $10 unless you have a City of Aurora Parks Pass. You might be able to park at the school across the street (Summit Elementary) and walk into Quincy Reservoir for free.
If you want to walk the whole loop, it's about 3.5 miles. You have to start walking clockwise. When you get around to the other end, you pass through a one-way turnstile and the path dumps you out on Quincy Ave then you have to walk back to the parking lot from there. Most people just walk part of the way around the loop then turn around and head back.
