It was a pretty birdy last three days in Pueblo County. Today's
highlights of what I saw with other birders: Golden-crowned Sparrow,
Yellow Palm Warbler, Red-throated, Pacific, 3 Common Loons, Red-necked
Grebe, Great Black-backed, 3 or more Lesser Black-backed, a few
Iceland (Thayer's) Gulls, a newly arrived Franklin's Gull, Long-tailed
Duck, Black Phoebe. A pretty good day. Other people saw one to two
Dunlins, two White-throated Sparrows, Lincoln's Sparrow. Not sure
what else people saw.
Congrats to Van Truan for seeing his 405th Pueblo County bird species
this morning, the Golden-crowned Sparrow, I helped him find it.
I won't be birding in Pueblo County for the next week, so there will
likely be new and exciting things found by other people.
Good birding,
Brandon Percival
