[cobirds] Cooley Lake bald eagles and Platte River sundries - Arapahoe County

Hi all - not rarities, I know, but I saw my FOS bald eagles on the osprey platform on the east side of Cooley Lake (just west of Aspen Grove Mall on the north side of Mineral) - 2 adults.  The Platte River had over 30 buffleheads between Mineral and Hampden.  I also saw two hooded mergansers just south of Bowles.  The highlight, though, was my FOS northern pintails just north of Bowles - two of them and a third just north of Belleview.  All in, some nice, early-winter birds!
