[cobirds] a few birds from Jefferson and Arapahoe counties

As I type a Nor. Saw-whet Owl is calling fairly near to my Ken Caryl Valley home, down out of the woods in Massey Draw drainage where there are some cottonwoods and willows. On Mar 5 I spotted my first White-winged Junco for my yard list, being the 6th form of junco I've had in my yard. An Eastern Downy Woodpecker in the yard on Mar 4 was just into the hills and beyond the species' usual distribution in the local region.

Today 3 Am. White Pelicans were soaring over Cooley Lake at South Platte Park, Arapahoe. A 3rd cycle Lesser Black-backed Gull was amid some Ring-billeds on the ice there.
