Hi all!
Had a decent trip to CCSP today in search of Bald Eagles. Saw a total of 7, most standing on the edge of the ice in the middle of the lake. One fully mature and the rest were varying juvenile years. There was a juvenile in a tree by the east entrance marina. He sure wasn't winning any beauty contests but wasn't spooked by the wandering folks taking pics under his tree...aahh, innocence and youth. Also saw a total of 5 American White Pelicans along that same shore. Spring is on its way!!
Happy birding!
