RE: [cobirds] Directions to Belmar Park in Lakewood, Jefferson County

Unfortunately, as reported earlier by Ira, the Worm-eating Warbler has not shown up today.  We left the area around 10:00 while others still are looking.  There are still some nice birds around but not the warbler.

I got a message that some birders are not familiar with Belmar Park, aka Belmar Historic Park.

Directions:
From I-70 exit 269, head south on Wadsworth approximately 5.5 miles. About a quarter mile south of Alameda, turn right (west) on Ohio Avenue and go straight about two blocks to the Irongate parking lot. The lake is just to the west of this lot.

For future reference, when a site is mentioned on CObirds, the easiest way to get directions is to
go to the CFO County Birding Website. http://coloradocountybirding.org

Once there, look at the top of the page and click "Birding by County" and a map shows up of all the counties.
Click on the county mentioned in the title of the posting and scroll down to the site.

Less familiar sites usually have directions included, which is appreciated.
