[cobirds] Marston reservoir,Denver, and my yd./Jefferson

Hi all,

In my yd. on 5/15 was 1, Veery, on  5/16,  I had 1, Swainson's Thrush. Today in the yd. were 2 m. Western Tanagers, and many Chipping Sparrows and Yellow-rumped Warblers. I live in Jefferson County, in Littleton.

Marston Reservoir,[Denver County] on 5/15 and 5/16 had 6  Willets. Today was frustrating. I saw Ibis on the eastern bank of the shrinking lake but the minute I stopped the car to look with my scope, all the Ibis flew north. There must have been at least 90 individuals. Since I could not get a good look at them who knows if Glossy Ibis were in the flock ? The Willet and Ibis were both seen from Bow Mar Dr. in the NE corner of the lake

Happy Birding !
