[cobirds] Persistent Eastern Phoebe - Arapahoe

A singing Eastern Phoebe continues along the High Line Canal Trail in the Centennial / Greenwood Village area (audible from where the Canal intersects with the Little Dry Creek, not far from the High Line Canal Conservancy office). He's been there for at least two weeks. (Students and I first encountered him on Thursday, March 28.) He was vigorously singing this morning, from the top branches of cottonwoods. If he attracts a partner and nests, it'd be something -- as this portion of trail has also drawn nesting Western (previously Cordilleran) Flycatchers over the past 5 years.
