[cobirds] the borogrove has returned

Sorry, I'm in a joyfully silly mood after seeing a Black-chinned Hummingbird displaying above a blossoming (persevering) fruit tree in our little orchard. He came this time last year, and did the same trick for me, so I know he's hoping his lady will appear again as well.

Our phoebe has not returned (after a 14 year presence by the pair, or their progeny), but someone else's has, and they are already breeding in our neighborhood. But I deeply miss having them on our ledges.

As for the ref. in subject line above, see if you can remember where you saw it before: Hint: the borogroves are mimsy at this time of year. But the slithy toves are not yet gyring and gimbeling in the wabe. No fair googling.
