Some great birds were found on today's 16 December 2023, Pueblo Reservoir CBC. 129 species were found by the dedicated birders who help with this count, every year. Pomarine Jaeger will be a first for any Colorado Bird Count, Yellow-billed Loon was major surprise, a Snow Bunting, eight species of Gulls, Glaucous and Great Black-backed, plus a count week Laughing Gull, Pine Warbler, White-winged Scoter, 2 Pacific Loons, Barrow's Goldeneye, a record number of Winter Wren (I think it is going to be 7), several other birds.
-- Thank you all for coming, and to compiler Mark Yeager for hosting the complation party at his Art Gallery in downtown Pueblo.
