[cobirds] Shady birds

This morning, when the sun still made it hot, we drove up the road to Castlewood Cyn. Church, near Willow Lake Drive. The ranch there has a fence made of metal pipes that extends to its corrals.

There we saw a flock of 7 Lark Buntings and 3 Meadowlarks, all  huddled in the shade of the lowest fence pipe. (We have seen no Lark Buntings this year and no Meadowlarks for a couple of weeks.) No picture, sorry to say.
