Hello all,

I didn't cross Glenn's path today but I also spent 2 hours searching for the Little Blue Heron with no luck (also looked at nearby drainage and irrigation ditches). With such magnificent north winds, the bird is probably back at the Gulf of Mexico by now.

The Snowy Plovers and Black-necked Stilts were a nice consolation prize though, my first of the year for this state anyway.

Folks,

After 3 hours of searching Holbrook and nearby bodies of water visible from county roads, I could not find Stan's Little Blue Heron (oteross negativii).  As a consolation prize, I had good looks at a Killdeer.  Oh well, que Cheraw Cheraw.  Well at least its suppose to be a nice weekend.   Actually, I did manage to see 11 shorebird species today.  It's nice when mid-April rolls around.
