Hi, everybody.
-- Greenlee Preserve and adjacent Waneka Lake had some nice birds this Saturday morning, Mar. 12, among them: 1 female wood duck, 1 bald eagle, 2 greater yellowlegs, 1 adult Thayer gull, 1 or 2 African collared-doves, 1 Say phoebe, nest-building bushtits, 1 ruby-crowned kinglet, and 1 continuing white-throated sparrow.

The recently introduced "rich media upload" functionality for eBird is amazing. Just take a picture or get audio, and then upload to eBird. It's that simple. No need for intermediary sites, as in the past. Your photos and audio go straight to the Macaulay Library of Sounds, where they are permanently archived for use by scientists and enthusiasts worldwide. Plus, this is an effective and satisfying way to compile an e-scrapbook of all your birding trips.
