Northern Waterthrush and Black-headed Grosbeak in Springer Natural Area this morning. N. Waterthrush was on the south side of the river just upstream from the Lemay Street bridge. The B.H. Grosbeak was on the same side of the river just downstream from the Lemay bridge. Both were singing consistently.
There was a singing Plumbeous Vireo in the cottonwoods just west of where the only trail in Cattail Chorus stops. This trail is accessed from the Poudre River recreational trail.
