[cobirds] Glossy Ibis at Deadman Lake

Two Glossy Ibis were foraging amongst the cattails on the north end of Deadman Lake yesterday evening.  They were near the Canada goose nest (with goose sitting on the nest).

They were joined by 3 Western grebes, 2 Great Blue Herons, a Great Egret and a something-something far out in the middle that looked loon-ish.

I drive by this Lake on my way to work and it's quite fun to see what's there.  Last year there was a veritable herd of Common Mergansers - I stopped counting at 60 - that hung around for 2 or 3 days.

Deadman Lake is at the southeast corner of Larimer County Rd 3 and Prospect Rd.
