The YCN Heron was in the middle of the north shore of the east pond, seen from about 3:10 until 3:35. It was not on the shoreline, but up on the bank in short grass. Not visible from west shore, but first spotted from south shore, and then from the north shore trail. It was moving slowly 10'-15' from the trail above the lower path. Unbothered either by me or passersby. I watched it about 20 minutes catching 4-5 grasshoppers.
Also harrier flying over the pond.
