Re: [cobirds] Hybrid goose ID help

I agree with Nathan about the white geese. However, I believe there is a hybrid in the upper left quadrant of the photo. The small dark brown goose with white feathers scattered on the head is likely a hybrid between cackling and Ross's goose. Any more photos of that one?

Those just look like Snow Geese to me. They are first-year birds, which explains the grayish smudging and the dark bills.
