Re: [cobirds] Calliope HB’s

We had a calliope yesterday at one of our feeders and at our fountain. I got photos but sun on the wings made it look washed out.

Peter,

I had my FOY Calliope (that I know of) this morning in South Boulder.  David Suddjian just had a Bird Bomb episode about the hummers coming through Colorado. A good watch/listen if you are interested in the migration and who will be where and when.  :)  You can find it on the DFO FB page.

Still waiting for a Rufous.

We had a male Calliope Hummer at the feeder on the 7th of this month.  Just here for a day.
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light for me on fall migration time lines.  Is this a typical time period for male Calliope migration for this area?

Thanks,

Peter Hark
