Sunday March 28th 7 p.m. - learn more about using eBird from the expert!
The eBird junkie Ted Floyd was eBirding before eBird was cool. In this presentation, Ted will bring us up to date on the many upgrades and enhancements to eBird in the past couple of years. Whether you are a recent convert and "casual user" or a longtime "chronic user," Ted's presentation will cover new ground for you.
-- The eBird junkie Ted Floyd was eBirding before eBird was cool. In this presentation, Ted will bring us up to date on the many upgrades and enhancements to eBird in the past couple of years. Whether you are a recent convert and "casual user" or a longtime "chronic user," Ted's presentation will cover new ground for you.
We will go birding together (virtually), then create an eBird checklist with bells, whistles, and other functionalities. Along the way, we will discover what eBird is good for, and, just as important, what eBird is not so good for. The presentation will be in a webinar format, but with several opportunities instream for interaction, plus a general Q&A at the end.
This webinar will also help prepare teams for the Colorado Birding Challenge coming up May 8th. One-hundred percent of proceeds from this event go to saving Colorado's grassland birds, and there is way for every kind of birder to participate whether you have a competitive streak or not.
