[cobirds] Joe Roller Memorial Green Big Year hits 100 species!

All,
I've hit 100 green species for 2021! On Sunday, I got Green Big Year Bird #100: Northern Goshawk! And it was a new bird for my yard list! How sweet it is. Thanks for that one Joe!

My strategy of chasing rarities and more expected, yet harder to find birds, has largely worked out well. Now to the Canvasbacks that leave 2 minutes (or the day) before I arrive, we need to have a talk......I needed the exercise and all, but still :)

Read about recent adventures and see my current species list at the link:

Please consider a tax-deductible donation or pledge per species (pledges do not need to be paid until the 2021 green big year ends). The pledges and donations are incredibly motivating. Thank you. We are doing this for Joe and for budding ornithologists! Please pledge or donate. We are closing in on our goal of $20,000 once I hit 250 species! We have some work to do, so let's do this!

Click the link (scroll to the bottom) to pledge or donate!

Now seriously Canvasbacks......I will see one of you this year and it will be awesome.

Thank you!
