Currently have about eighty (80) BOHEMIAN WAXWINGs next door (Thurs., 2 Feb.’23 / Athmar Park neighborhood, Denver Co.), so if you still need them for Denver, give the Huston Park area a try. Let me know separately if you’d like more information.

They’re baaack!! Just had about a hundred (100) BOHEMIAN WAXWINGs show up in the neighbor’s yard (Athmar Park neighborhood, Denver Co.), so if you are in southwest Denver, keep an eye out or let me know if you’d like any specifics.
Good Birding,

While parts of our neighborhood (Athmar Park, SW Denver Co.) have a bohemian vibe, did have actual BOHEMIAN WAXINGs this morning (Fri., 20 Jan.’23), along with some CEDAR buddies, give us a flyby while out playing with the dogs. There were about fifty (50) birds total, roughly 25 each, in the flock that was flying up towards the park (Huston Lake Park, Denver Co.) which does have a variety of fruit bearing trees, so might be worth a check if you are out and about. First heard the Bohemians, so keep both your eyes and ears open.
Happy New Year,
Doug
Denver
PS – We got into Denevr late last week from North Idaho where Bohemian numbers continue to be relatively low. Megan (Miller), the food crop for these guys is in good shape up there, and while a little snowier than usual the weather hasn’t been bad, so no obvious answers to your question from earlier this week from that part of their normal winter range.
