A follow-up on this.  I received several suggestions to call Leica.  I did so this morning. They will be sending me some replacement eyecups free of charge. The only down-side is that I have black binos, and the eyecups are green . . .    I'll consider them a fashion statement.

This morning, while out birding, one of the eyecups came off . . . and rolled into a sewer grate (of course!). No way to retrieve it. 

Does anyone have a suggestion as to who to contact for a replacement(s)?
